Home fragrance oils are the perfect way to scent your home. The oils can be used in a tealight warmer, electric warmer unit or electric potpourri pot. Unfortunately, home fragrance oils are so expensive it costs a small fortune to scent an average-size home. Most home fragrance oils are 10 mL, which is one-third of an ounce. The retail price of Yankee Candle home fragrance oils is $4.99 per bottle. Bath & Body Works charges $7.50 for the same third-ounce bottle. That’s $15 to $22.50 per ounce! If you have a large house and like to keep it smelling great, having 6 or 8 oil warmers going could cost upwards of $20 per day.

Many bath and body companies produce "type" fragrances. Call them knock-offs, designer fragrances, 'dupes', or whatever you'd like, but the fact is most are EXACT REPLICAS of the name brand products. You can often find cheap Yankee Candle home fragrance oils if you add "Type" after the fragrance name. For example, if you're looking online for Buttercream, you might not find any products available. However, if you search for "Buttercream Type" you'll find companies that offer Yankee Candle 'type' home fragrance oils in virtually every fragrance YC has ever offered.

We offer home fragrance oils in over 300 fragrances including most offered by Yankee Candle. We offer almost 40 Yankee Candle ´type’ home fragrance oils. We also carry over 60 Bath & Body Works Type home fragrance oils including most of their recently discontinued scents! We’re so sure you’ll think our replica home fragrance oil scents are ´the real thing’ we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If you don’t like our home fragrance oils, we’ll refund your money and you can keep the oil!

We proudly offer the following:
15 mL home fragrance oils
30 mL home fragrance oils

We can’t possibly say enough good things about Milky Way molds. The molds are incredibly well-made and the quality beats all other molds hands-down. Most plastic soap molds are simply cheap products that are intended for short-term use. While you can’t expect a plastic soap mold to last forever, Milky Way molds will outlast other brands if you treat them like you would any other investment.

Milky Way soap molds are made in the USA! We won’t mention names, but if you’re considering any other brand of soap mold, ask where the molds are made. Most are made in China but the distributors fail to mention the country of origin. We are PRO-American. We sell Milky Way molds because the company is all-American. The company is owned by artist and author Catherine Failor, who proudly resides in the US!

Milky Way molds can be used for making chocolates, soap, and candles. Once you use a mold for soap or candle making, do not use it for chocolate. The reason why should be obvious. When unmolding your finished product, do not twist or bend the mold. If the product won’t come out, place it in the freezer for a few minutes. Alternatively, you can try placing the mold in hot water. Soap is much easier to remove if allowed to remain in the mold 12 – 24 hours after cooling down. Don’t try to remove the soap before it’s ready. Besides possibly distorting the shape of the soap, you risk damaging the mold.

Over the years, we’ve ruined more soap molds than we care to admit. We all learn by trial and error. While it’s true that you can’t put a price on experience, there’s nothing more discouraging than ruining an $8 Milky Way mold during first use. The most important tip we can offer is to be gentle with the molds. The molds are durable and should last for years but anyone can ruin a mold without even trying. No matter how much you’re tempted, do not bend or twist a Milky Way mold. If you permanently bend the edges, the mold won’t sit flat and your soaps will come out uneven. Sometimes a hair dryer is the best tool to remove soaps. Place the mold over a clean area and apply warm heat to the bottom of the mold. DO NOT use high heat. Most soaps will slip out of the mold after a few seconds of low heat. Be sure to keep moving the hair dryer over the mold so you don’t apply too much heat to any one spot.

Milky Way Molds has been voted Best Soap Mold Company for three consecutive years by readers of The Saponifier magazine. Milky Way soap mold designs are hand-sculpted by author and artist Catherine Failor. Most importantly to those of who are pro-American, Milky Way Molds is located right here in the US.

Milky Way molds can be cleaned with warm water and soap. If the molds have been used for soap only, simply soak them in warm water for half an hour or so. DO NOT use hot water or EVER put molds in the dishwasher. The molds will warp.

Most Milky Way molds are $9.95. The larger loaf trays are $19.95.

Our scented oils are among the finest on the market. In case you haven’t learned the hard way, not all oils are created the same. We don’t believe in bad mouthing the competition, so we will say that certain companies that sell cheap fragrance oils are selling just that...CHEAP oils.

There are 3 grades of candle fragrance oils. Some companies refer to the various grades by different names, but in general the 3 grades are called Cosmetics Grade, Manufacturer’s Grade, and Premium Grade. In layman’s terms, the grades could be considered weak, normal, and strong. Cosmetics Grade oils are suitable for use in general cosmetics and soaps. Most can also be used in candles. Manufacturer’s Grade scented oils are stronger than the cosmetics grade. You don’t need to use as much of the Manufacturer’s Grade fragrance but, of course, the medium grade costs more. Premium Grade scented oils are the top-of-the-line. They often cost three times as much as the Cosmetics grade, which is why most companies don’t offer the Manufacturer’s Grade.

Scented oils should be pure, uncut oil. Our scented oils are Manufacturer’s and Premium Grades and are pure and uncut. We mention the difference for a reason. At least two companies that sell cheap scented oils dilute their products with filler oils. The most common filler oil is Dipropylene Glycol commonly referred to as DPG. The scented oils market is very competitive. In an attempt to gain the upper edge, these companies dilute Premium Grade oils with up to 75% DPG or other filler oils. DPG is safe for use in cosmetics, but it produces a very faint fragrance oil. Rather than sell pure scented oils, these companies offer highly diluted fragrances that will make inferior cosmetics, soaps, and candles. You’ll end up having to use more fragrance than recommended simply to achieve a decent level of scent.

Our scented oils are 100% pure, uncut Manufacturer’s and Premium Grades. We do not dilute our oils with DPG or any other filler oil. By popular request of our customers, beginning in March of 2011 we started offering both Manufacturer's and Premium grades of scented oils. We initially felt that offering the Manufacturer’s Grade would suit everyone’s needs, but we’ve had quite a few customers ask for the Premium Grade. We decided if we’re going to offer the less expensive Manufacturer's Grade, we might as well also offer the Premium Grade.

If you’re unsure how much fragrance to use, check with the manufacturer of the candle wax, soap base, or cosmetic product you’re using. All manufacturers and distributors list the maximum recommended fragrance level. Do not exceed the recommended maximum level. Adding too much fragrance to a cosmetics product could cause temporary and even permanent skin damage. Adding too much fragrance oil to a candle could cause a fire! When in doubt, check it out. Always adhere to the maximum recommended fragrance level established by the manufacturer or distributor of your product base.
