Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are your hours? A: Our website accepts orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We ship Monday through Friday except federal holidays.
Q: What is your turnaround time? A: Most orders are shipped within 1 business day. Soaps and candles are made to order and must harden for at least 24 hours before they can be shipped.
Turnaround times are greatly extended for all orders placed between October 1 and January 31. During these holiday months, turnaround time can run up to 7 business days.
Orders placed over the weekend are processed in the order in which they were received. Not all orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Monday. Since we receive 80% of our orders over the weekend, it's inevitable that some won't be shipped until Tuesday or Wednesday.
While we strive to keep all products in stock, some items might temporarily be out of stock. If you purchase an item that is temporarily out of stock, we will split your order. We will ship the items that are in stock and create a separate order for the item that is on back order. You will not be charged shipping for the back-ordered item.
Q: My friend receive a discount that isn't showing on your website. How come? A: We frequently offer private sales and promotions that are not available to the general public. These private sales and promotions are announced in our email newsletters and on our FaceBook page. If you'd like to be informed on our private sales and promotions, be sure to sign up for our email newsletter and become a fan of our FaceBook page. Your friend received the discount because she either signed up for our email newsletter or is a fan of our FaceBook page.
Q: Are all of your products available year round? A: No. While most of our products are available all year, during busy times we must temporarily discontinue some items. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend the sale of certain items that take too long to produce (such as candles and fragrance oil samples).
Q: How can I view the status of my order? A: Click the Account History link at the top of the page. Your Account History page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order you wish to view. If you did not create a free account when you placed your order, you will not have access to your Account History. Q: Where do you ship from? A: Most orders are shipped from our warehouses in New Hampshire. Cases of soap base, candle wax, and candle jars may be shipped from our warehouse in Ohio.
Q: What are your shipping costs? A: We charge flat $4.95 shipping per order. The $4.95 shipping is by USPS Parcel Post Mail. We also offer USPS Priority Mail for $7.50 and UPS Ground shipping for $12.50.
Q: Do you still offer free shipping? A: No. Due to the spiraling cost of delivery, we are no longer able to offer free shipping.

Q: Do you have descriptions of what your fragrances smell like? A: Yes. Click here to visit our Fragrance Descriptions page. The page will take quite a while to load because we have a lot of fragrances available. Q: How do you ship fragrance oils? A: Because they are both liquid and flammable, fragrance oils must be shipped by Ground. We cannot ship fragrance oils by Priority Mail, Express Mail, or UPS Air. We ship to the 48 continental United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or any other US possession or territory. Q: What's the difference between Cosmetics Grade, Manufacturer's Grade, and Premium Grade fragrance oil? A: GRADES OF FRAGRANCE OILS Cosmetics Grade - Cosmetics Grade oils are intended for direct use on the body as a skin-safe perfume oil and as burning oils. This grade of oil cannot be used in cosmetics, lotions, soaps, or candles. We do not carry Cosmetics Grade fragrance oils.
Manufacturer's Grade - Manufacturer's Grade oils can be used in cosmetics products including soaps, lotions, creams, and perfumes. This grade can also be used in candles.
Premium Grade - Premium Grade fragrance oils are the best all-around oils. This grade is superior quality and by far the best choice for use in MP soap, CP soap, and candles.
Q: Do you offer a customer rewards program? A: No. Most rewards programs are not buyer-friendly. You receive rewards points to be used on future orders. We offer something better! We offer immediate discounts based on the amount of your order. These discounts range from $5 off a $50 order to $50 off orders of $250 or more. Compare our liberal discounts to any rewards program and you'll see that our discounts beat their rewards, hands down!
